HQ Aero is currently recruiting for STRUCTURES TECHNICIANS in TUCSON, AZA $10,000 Bonus will be paid out over a 12-Month Period in Four Installments:
You will be eligible for $2,000 the last business day of the third month following your hire date.
You will be eligible for $2,000 the last business day of the sixth month following your hire date.
You will be eligible for $2,000 the last business day of the ninth month following your hire date.
You will be eligible for $4,000 the last business day of the twelfth month following your hire date.
Note: You must be in good standing in order to receive the bonus. Meaning, no performance concerns, attendance issues, etc.
Responsibilities:
As a Structures Technician, you will be required to:
- Remove / install aircraft components as required.
- Fabricate and or modify structural modifications on aircraft parts.
- Perform minor structural repairs on composite components either attached or detached.
- Assist in conducting hidden damage inspection of aircraft structures and aircraft component repair.
- Assist with complex structural repairs either on or off aircraft.
- Perform mechanical / electrical removals and installations as required.
- Inspect confined areas of airframe and assist in providing time estimates as required.
- Adhere to general work rules and company policies and procedures applicable to work area and job functions.
- Minimum of 1 year of structural sheet metal repair / modification experience or substantiated similar experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of corporate / commercial jet experience.
- Completed Sheetmetal A/C Tech school or equivalent Training.
- Able to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.
- Ability to effectively communicate (verbal & written) aircraft status.
- Demonstrated ability to train other employees is preferred.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Standard Aviation Tool Kit required.
- Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.

- Shift Schedule: 12 hour shifts -work 3 days @ 12 hours per day / off for 4 days / work 4 days @ 12 hours per day / off for 3 days - Candidate must be willing to work either shift. Overtime is available.
- Contractor Lodging: MHI is offering a maximum of 14 nights in a nearby hotel. Room and tax only will be paid. Technician is responsible for all other charges.
- Contract Wage: $19.00/hr, Tax- 40 Reg hrs, $48.00/hr O/T
- Per Diem: $168/day (5 days max) Half Day $84
- Must be able to work as a part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Must be a self-starter, able to work with little to no guidance. Must be a highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, with the ability to multi-task.
- Must be computer proficient.
- Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, Position requires frequent walking, standing and/or climbing.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in confined spaces. FAR Part 145 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.
