Structural Welder

Inland Mobile Welding Inc, is a mobile welding company located in Moreno Valley Ca. Our company takes pride in producing high quality welds in Southern California. We are looking for an experienced Structural Welder that is willing to travel to Los Angeles and surrounding areas depending on jobsite location. Structural welder D1.1 1 with 10 years of experience in FCAW, SMAW, GTAW is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and welding procedures.
• Plan details of work procedures; gather required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job.
• Weld structural steel in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
• Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently to join metal parts according to specifications. - Coordinate workflow and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
• Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to code requirements.
• Follow safety protocols and maintains a clean and organized work area.

Knowledge/Abilities:

• Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds.
• Thorough understanding of machines and tools used in welding techniques.
• Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC).
• Certification in structural welding preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Understanding of welding safety practices and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able and willing to work at elevated heights from ladders, scaffolding, platforms, etc.
• Work may include frequent bending, kneeling, crouching and stooping occasional climbing.
• Must wear PPE, such as respirator, welding equipment, gloves, safety glasses, hard hat and ear protection while working on jobsite.

Pay: $24-$27 per hour depending on experience, skill level, and qualifications.

Job Duration: Our position is temporary with the possibility of becoming temp-to-hire.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
