Structural Welder

You must have 2+ years of experience working on Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP or Precips), Bag House Filter Systems (Bag Houses), Dust Collectors, Ash Collection Systems, Fan Systems (ID & FD), Expansion Joints, Dampers, Mix / Dissolving tanks, Pulp Processing Equipment, and Material Handling Systems (wood chips, bark, coal, cement, etc).

The individual applying for this position must, also, have 2+ years of verifiable experience in the industrial setting of Paper Mills, Power Plants, Cement Mills, Sugar Mills, Waste to Energy Plants, and Refineries. Candidate must have current OSHA 10, Basic Welding Tools (list will be provided at interview), NCCER card or AWS certification for Structural Welding is preferred and will determine starting pay.

You must have 2+ years of verifiable experience in Structural Welding.

We are seeking skilled Structural Welders to join our team. As a Structural Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components in both carbon steel and stainless steel applications, using Fluxcore, Tig and Stick processes in all positions.

Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Properly weld metal components in accordance with AWS standards.
- Operate and set up welding equipment and tools such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welders
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and PPE.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a welding program or apprenticeship
- Minimum of 2+ years of verifiable experience in structural welding
- Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques
- Must have basic welding tools (Welding hood, stinger, chipping hammer, wire brush, gauges, tool bag and FR clothing.)
- Knowledge of welding safety procedures and practices with a valid OSHA 10 or higher certification.
