We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Structural Engineering intern in San Francisco, CA or Remotely. At Jacobs our Structural Engineers are responsible for the structural design for new structures as well as existing structural upgrades. Help with structural computations and analysis of concrete, steel, Masonry and timber structures and conducts calculation checks, Review drawings, specifications, reports, and other project deliverables while working with the Structural Engineering team and other disciplines within the project team. Makes technical assumptions, thinks independently to complete assigned work, and draws engineering conclusions. Performs assignments designed to develop professional knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard engineering techniques, procedures, and codes. Participate as a team member, contributing ideas and possible solutions, and leading on issues where appropriate.

 You will be engaged on construction support services, and sales and marketing to procure new work for the vertical structures team. A successful candidate will illustrate successful completion of these tasks.

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, an emphasis in Structures is a plus
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written 
• Strong problem-solving skills  
• Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas 
• Ability to work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams 
• Passionate about civil design, buildings, data centers, and construction 

The base salary range for this position is $28.20 to $32.20. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
