Structural Design Engineer

Overview:

For this position our client is seeking a talented and experienced Structural Designer to join our team. As a Structural Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and efficient designs for various structural projects. Duties:

- Develop detailed Structural Designs using software such as Revit, ArchiCAD, and MicroStation
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure design integrity and functionality
- Create 2D and 3D models of structures using CAD software
- Perform calculations and analysis to determine structural stability and load-bearing capacity
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive schematics, drawings, and specifications
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather relevant data
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Structural Design techniques

Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in civil (Structural) engineering (required)

- EI or PE credentials through the State of Florida (preferred)
- 5 years of experience as a Structural Designer or similar role
- Proficient in using design software such as Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and CAD
- Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices
- Familiarity with graphic design, 2D animation, and interior design concepts is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex structural issues
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
