Form of workSummary of Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Structural Bridge Engineer will be design and plan preparation in accordance with applicable design specifications. Projects may include various bridge types such as steel plate girder, prestressed concrete girder and reinforced concrete slab structures. Daily activities include concept development, performing bridge sizing, structural design, seismic analysis, developing bridge plans and special provisions, estimating and construction costs. Responsibilities may also include performing countywide bridge inspections and bridge load ratings.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience
- PE is preferred
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a structural major or emphasis
- Knowledge of Prestressed Concrete is preferred
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or specialized bridge design software
- Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with co-workers and clients, both in verbal and written form

EMPLOYEE REFERRAL BONUS POLICY
Employees who refer a candidate to the Company for employment may receive a bonus.
$4,000 for the referral and hire of an exempt Egis BLN USA Inc. employee
$2,000 for the referral and hire of a non-exempt Egis BLN USA Inc. employee
Conditions:
- The referral must be hired on as a full time Egis BLN USA Inc. employee.
- The referral must be employed for 120 day before the bonus is paid.
- The employee who made the referral must be employed with Egis BLN USA Inc. at the time the bonus is paid.
- The referral bonus will be directly deposited in the account on file.
- A part time employee referral will receive half of the bonus amount.
- A contract employee referral will receive half of the bonus amount.
- No bonus is given for a referral that was a previous Egis BLN USA Inc. employee.
- Department Managers are not eligible for a referral bonus.
- No bonus is given if the Egis BLN USA Inc. employee has been introduced through an outside recruitment firm at a previous time.
