Structural Analysis Engineer

Our Client is currently looking for a Structural Analysis Engineer to support a couple large programs.  In this role you will be responsible for:

• Structural analysis tasks including, but are not limited to: static strength, damage tolerance and durability
• Developing, integrating and documenting structural requirements to establish the system design
• Coordinating with other engineering groups to establish the product’s environment
• Guiding product design and verifying structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models / simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
• Developing test plans and configurations, supporting text execution and analyzes / reports test results to validate and verify systems and components to meet requirements and specifications
• Defining and documenting certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied
• Supporting in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements
• Supporting internal / external design reviews, technical interchange meetings (TIMs), preliminary / critical design reviews (PDR / CDR) with U.S. and Foreign Air Force Customers

Requirements

• Experience with certification development, documentation support and process
• Bachelor Degree
• Ability to obtain US Government Security Clearance post start
• Available to work overtime if needed
• NASTRAN/PATRAN software experience is preferred
• Previous relevant experience
