Our Client is currently looking for a Structural Analysis Engineer to support a couple large programs. In this role you will be responsible for:
- Structural analysis tasks including, but are not limited to: static strength, damage tolerance and durability
- Developing, integrating and documenting structural requirements to establish the system design
- Coordinating with other engineering groups to establish the product’s environment
- Guiding product design and verifying structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models / simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
- Developing test plans and configurations, supporting text execution and analyzes / reports test results to validate and verify systems and components to meet requirements and specifications
- Defining and documenting certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied
- Supporting in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements
- Supporting internal / external design reviews, technical interchange meetings (TIMs), preliminary / critical design reviews (PDR / CDR) with U.S. and Foreign Air Force Customers
- Experience with certification development, documentation support and process
- Bachelor Degree
- Ability to obtain US Government Security Clearance post start
- Available to work overtime if needed
- NASTRAN/PATRAN software experience is preferred
