- Performs routine Medical Assisting duties, including assisting providers, tray setups
- (paps, pelvis, minor surgeries), charting, patient care, vital signs, EKGs, urinalysis
- rapid strep test, pregnancy testing, finger-stick glucose & Hgb, phlebotomy, and
- injections (intramuscular, intradermal and subcutaneous) medication administration
- Practices motivational techniques with individuals to assist them in making changes
- to improve their health
- Provide information and referrals to patients as needed
- Provides input in the development of clinical procedures/ setting clinic goals
- Provides care coordination on caseload
- Provides verbal and written feedback to supervisors regarding the progress of the

Regulatory Requirements:
CPR BLS certification current and not expired
Degree in Public Health, Biology Sciences,Sociology, Psychology Human Services, or related field.
Automobile, valid drivers license and adequate insurance required.
Intermediate excel level experience.

Regulatory Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, required

A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the healthcare and medical industry is required.
CPR certifications

Immunization record (showing completion of MMR, HEP B, Flu, Covid-19 -2 doses with bivalent booster).
PPD documentation within 1 year. (Individuals with a history of a positive PPD must provide a note for their provider indicating they are free of active disease, a blood test or chest x-ray with the last year.)
