A Day in the Life This position has the responsibility and authority to promote specified Medtronic ENT therapies, products and services to hospitals, physicians and other approved customers within the geographical limits of their territory to attain established quotas and strategic sales objectives. Through technical and sales aptitude, this position will have responsibility for driving deep account penetration and new user adoption of ENT therapies, products and services.

This individual will conduct and/or assist in conducting customer and sales force training in the use of Medtronic ENT therapies, products and services. This individual will also represent the company in accordance with its policies and in the area assigned, maintaining an awareness of local competitive conditions and report back promptly to the ENT District Manager. Immediate responsibilities will include an intense focus on the Sinus Balloon Dilation and ENT Office Market Segments.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Manage and drive the day to day activities of the Medtronic ENT Strategic Sales Initiatives: Clearly defined objectives and required activities Sales and performance accountability for the district focused activities Consistency in our approach to specific strategic sales activities and therapy adoption strategies Strong collaboration with the ENT districts and territories Create territory sales growth plans to meet and exceed company AOP and ensure proper execution Work collaboratively with the ENT District Managers and sales reps to identify prospective new users of Medtronic therapies, products and services Lead to drive conversion of surgeons to Medtronic therapies, products and services Aggressively seek new customers and formulate follow-up plans for such action as directed by the ENT District Manager Be present during surgical evaluations of Medtronic therapies, products and services Work in concert with Medtronic ENT sales reps on local projects, programs and strategic sales activities where appropriate Work closely with our field sales partners to ensure adequate knowledge, experience, and commitment to mission in order to maintain competitive advantage in all geographic locations. Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions and trade shows as directed Conduct hands-on training sessions for Medtronic ENT sales reps, physicians and hospital staff Complete MBO requirements and periodic reporting as dictated by the senior leadership team Participates in in-house sponsored customer training at designated sites Extensive knowledge and familiarity with key literature Solid understanding of competitive therapies, products and services in the U.S. Adhere to company policies and conduct all business in an ethical manner UNIVERSAL Comply with the Medtronic Quality System Perform duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies or governmental regulations.

Required to interact and communicate with peers and co-workers. Required to spend periods of time on computer-based work. Performs other duties as assigned.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree AND 5 years of sales experience with 3 of those 5 years in medical sales; or Bachelor's Degree AND 3 years of Medtronic RTG (Pain, Brain or Spine) Clinical Specialist or Sales Rep I experience along with 2 years of additional prior clinical or medical sales experience Nice to Have Three years of experience of focus on sinus balloon dilation procedures and/or experience in the ENT start up space and experience training sales consultants and physicians on disruptive products and concepts preferred. Proven track record in delivering results. Prioritize activities and allocate resources for greatest effectiveness.

Exemplary written and verbal communications skills. Leadership skills to guide cross functional teams. Proven ability to work successfully in a team environment.

Demonstrated abstract and concrete problem-solving skills. Physical Job Requirements Maintain and transport demonstration equipment to customers' premises as required. Physical handling of this equipment is therefore integral to the position.

The employee must be able to lift 20 pounds per job requirement. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision Must be able to travel **Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy. In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application.
