Strategic Planning Specialist

The client is a leader in ICT research and development. It develops optical networking; wireless networking, broadband access, data communications, and video conferencing products. The company provides enterprise network solutions, including data center, networking solutions, and cloud computing. The client  also develops carrier network solutions comprising metro optical, long haul optical, optical networking, mobile network, and broadband. 

Job Summary

The role of the Strategic Planning Specialist s is to provide initiative portfolio management for our North America R&D lab by partnering with our Product, Sales, Engineering, and operational teams to enhance and grow our business and drive initiatives that respond to rapidly changing market needs. For this particular job, we are looking for an individual who has a strong track record of evaluating, recommending, planning, and executing strategic initiatives targeted to redefine and drive priorities.

Key Performance Objectives (not an all-inclusive list of duties and expectations)

  • Prepare, adjust, and evaluate team Strategic Planning work
  • Conduct information collection, aggregation, and analysis for industry and competitor, support for team strategy and investment M&A
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build a plan to drive key strategic initiatives designed to grow the business across both product and monetization
  • Project manage strategic initiatives from evaluation, sales, negotiations, agreement, and revenue tracking
  • Build replicable processes related to evaluation through implementation of strategic initiatives
  • Drive initiatives that align with team goals as the preferred location solution across existing customers, partners, and prospects

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in business or related field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in IT companies contributing in the creation and implementation of key strategies and tactical activities to address business challenges and risks
  • 2+ years related experience in corporate development, business development, high-tech, marketing or consulting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent logic, analytical thinking and overall looking, and strong writing skills
  • Ability to shift between different priorities, quick learner for new topics/subjects, and ability to assess in order to make strategic decisions
  • Ability to be hands on to execute and also drive strategic decisions independently and efficiently with minimal resources
  • Product and marketing experience
