This critical position provides a unique opportunity to support the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). In this role you will provide both Systems Engineering and Strategic Planning support, at both the Headquarters and Mission Ground Stations. The customers directly supported are the Chief Architect and Systems Engineer at HQ and the Chief Engineer and the Support Division lead at the Ground Stations.


The ideal candidate has experience supporting NRO operations and is familiar with the issues related to Facilities space utilization at the ADF-C. The candidate will be responsible for coordination with the HQ element on the site data for the Integrated Strategic Roadmap.


The candidate will support planning and activities related to space utilization, mission growth, and power requirements. At the ADF-C the candidate must have a working knowledge of the different tenants at the site, as well as the ability to interact with site leaders.


Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM / Business or equivalent experience
  • Possess an active and current TS/SCI with CI/Polygraph
  • Three (3) years or more of relevant IC systems engineering experience
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to develop and recommend solutions for problems/issues
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Must have strong communications skills and be able to work across various levels of leadership

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science or Master’s Degree in a science or engineering discipline
  • Intelligence Community familiarity, and depth
  • IC Operations Experience
  • Be conversant with host site offices and divisions and tenants
  • Leadership ability to interact with Seniors and Juniors to manage Facilities plans and requirements
  • Experience with being an ambassador of a HQ organization while working remotely
  • Experience with performance metrics

 

The typical pay range for this position is USD $124,000 - $152,000 per year, total package. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, retirement plan and other benefits (all included as part of package).

 


Deliverables will include reports, briefings, spreadsheets, or other documents as directed by the Government.
