Strategic Event ManagerB2B High Tech (Remote)
We are looking for a Strategic Event Manager for a global B2B High Tech company. This role will be responsible for building the messaging, thematic, and experience strategy that will inform all internal and external events. This common event strategy platform will then be implemented in a customized approach for each event. This role will lead cross-functional teams and agencies to implement the experience program strategy and planning and execute at the highest level a wide variety of in-person events to drive business outcomes and raise the bar on customer and employee experience with the main goal of educating and engaging new and existing customers on brand, messaging, and solutions portfolio. Additionally, this role will plan and execute select events end to end.
This is a 40 hour/week role, 12 month contract to potentially FTE role. Remote in the US
This is a w-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee. Health benefits and 401K offered.
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic leader in defining the company's overall events experience strategy identifying what experience target audiences will have across events to drive interest and engagement. Define the unifying themes, messages, and brand across events.
- Establish event experience goals, objectives, and priorities with business, marketing, and agency partners.
- Develop and execute some events that will create brand awareness, generate leads and pipeline, and position the company as a thought leader
- Project manage end-to-end planning, production, and execution of large and small-scale B2B events including but not limited to venue sourcing and negotiation, technical production management, creative design, agency sourcing, speaker selection, agenda, flows, giveaways, collateral, catering requirements, experience set-ups, revenue tracking and materials support etc.
- Create and maintain a project plan for each phase with a resource plan, defined milestones, budgets, associated tasks, and timelines
- Manage $1M + budgets, reporting on spend and ROI generated for each program
- Regularly update the marketing leadership team on the status of trends, metrics, challenges/solutions, forecasts, and strategies to drive brand awareness and pipeline growth.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Strategic Event planning and marketing experience at global B2B high-tech companies or working with Agencies with such clients
- Highly proactive, innovative, collaborative, organized, detailed-oriented, and analytical self-starter leader who is capable of effectively managing several projects simultaneously from a variety of stakeholders and vendors and staying calm under pressure
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ability to adapt to a variety of internal and external stakeholders and think strategically to influence them.
- Strong executive presence to manage executive stakeholders and event attendances
- Highly organized with an ability to manage resources, budgets, and onsite personnel
- Data-driven with a focus on delivering metrics and the ability to show the impact of your work
- Some travel to events for onsite management

Compensation: $70/hr to $74/hr
