Foth Infrastructure & Environment, LLC is currently seeking a team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented Strategic Consultant in Remediation who is looking for new learning experiences, opportunities for career growth, and has a desire to contribute to our clients' success.  This individual will be remote or out of a local Foth office.

    • Portland Harbor Superfund Remediation (RM9W) - FOTH
    • Site Investigation for Former MGP Site - FOTH
    • Challenge Accepted: The Lake Superior Restoration Project that "Couldn't Be Done" - FOTH
    • Lower Fox River Contaminated Sediment Cleanup - FOTH
    • Sediment Remediation: The Balance between Stakeholder Expectations and Technical Requirements - FOTH
Primary Responsibilities:
    • Provide project leadership to develop strategic approach to technical solutions including key interactions with client, client's legal counsel, and regulators; maintain strategic leadership and relationships throughout the project
    • Maintain positive relationships and knowledge of existing and proposed regulations related to sediment management with approval authorities, industry organizations, and internal and external customers
    • Develop strategies to address client risk, execution concerns, and stakeholder issues
    • Assist business development efforts by supporting proposal preparation and cultivating client relationships for both existing and potential clients
    • Function as a project manager or utilize technical knowledge as needed
    • Coach, motivate, mentor, and develop other Foth members
Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Water Resources, or related fields
    • 5+ years of experience in sediment or upland remediation projects including investigations, feasibility studies, alternative evaluations, technical strategies, design, and client/legal counsel/regulatory negotiation, including litigation/allocation support.
Preferred Qualifications:
    • Advanced degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Water Resources, or related fields
    • 15+ years of experience with an engineering consulting firm
    • Previous experience with integrating complex science and engineering on sediment, groundwater, or soil management projects
    • Experience interacting with other project stakeholders to establish positive public project perception
    • Previous experience developing design/build project opportunities
$120,000 - $175,000 a year
The base compensation listed for this job posting reflects a general range for the posted position.  Base compensation will vary based on factors such as: years of experience, location, level of responsibility and licenses/certifications. In addition to base compensation, Foth members may be eligible to receive bonuses through our Earned Performance Incentive program. All employees are eligible for On-the-Spot bonuses.  Exempt members are also eligible for either quarterly and/or annual bonuses.  Eligible full-time and part-time members will be offered medical, dental, vision insurance, employee assistance program, disability, retirement, holiday pay, and several other voluntary benefits.
