As a Vice President in Commercial Banking, you will lead and support the execution of strategic initiatives across Wholesale Lending Services (WLS).
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders across WLS to review existing processes and implement thoughtful change
- Perform project analysis, including documenting business requirements, detailing issues and risks, and drafting business processes and data flows
- Perform data analysis, including data collection, synthesis, and translation of results into concrete metrics or deliverables
- Supports ad-hoc data analytics or deep dive analysis, working alongside stakeholders to develop long term solutions as appropriate
- Ensures appropriate documentation, controls and testing are in place at all times, working alongside our controls manager as applicable
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 5 years of experience in data analysis
- 2 years of experience in developing solutions using Alteryx, Tableau, etc.
- Strong problem solving and investigative skills to under-take analysis, resolve issues/problems related to loans operations
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Self-starter and highly self-motivated
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, data analytics, or related fields
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Knowledge of investment banking products, specifically loans
- Experience syndicated lending
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal guidance
- Ability to prioritize tasks and pivot in response to new developments
- Experience with LoanIQ
Work schedule
- This hybrid role requires going into the office three days a week with two days' flexibility to work from home, subject to change
