Description
Able to demonstrate knowledge of stormwater pollution prevention (SWPPP) requirements and inspections. Strong understanding of the EPA Construction General Permit requirements.
Candidates must have an understanding of the construction industry, job site safety requirements, planning and scheduling, building trades and sequence of work, and relevant technology
Able to read construction plans and understand various sediment and Erosion Control specifications.
Understanding of different sediment and Erosion Control materials, methods and installation requirements.
Able to perform multiple types of inspections, including Municipal, Industrial and Construction according to company policy and procedures and ruling regulatory requirements.
Assist with managing job site logistics, field coordination, and project schedule.
Coordinate subcontractors.
Coordinate with building inspections, subcontractor inspections, and agencies and work with engineers, customers and site agency inspectors in a reasonable, just and friendly manner as a representative of the company.
In collaboration with the Land Development Manager perform daily job site walks and submit brief daily audit reports on job and crew accomplishments.
Establish network to cities, counties, municipalities and public works departments
Self-starter, able to recognize when change is needed and create and implement changes to further the goal of the position.
Organized, detail oriented, ability to multitask.
Must be able to adapt to unexpected changes or plans.
Must be able to write clearly, concisely and complete inspection reports to a high quality.
Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures.
