The Storeroom Clerk is responsible for providing service to order, ship, store, and track required spare and repair parts for production equipment and associated machinery.  Duties Include:

Perform clerical duties associated with parts and material ordering, receiving, and shipping in a storeroom setting.

Receive, inspect, and handle parts and materials for storage.

Maintain order and accountability of the parts and materials in the storeroom.

Check received parts and materials against the shipping documentation.

Perform physical checks of storeroom materials for breakage or damage.

Prepare inventory control and conduct periodic inventory checks of storeroom materials.

Handle and record movements of incoming and outgoing storeroom materials.

Ensure storeroom premises are maintained in a neat and orderly fashion.

Ensure adherence to established parts and materials receipt and charge-out processes.

Comply with and participate in corporate-wide safety programs, including but not limited to PPE and lock-out requirements.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.

Ability to work from elevated positions using required safety gear andprocedures.

Ability to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping,standing, pushing, and/or pulling for extended periods.

Able to work in a variety of environmental conditions.

Three years of storeroom-based experience.

CMMS experience is preferred.

Forklift experience is preferred.
