Performs input to SAP computer system in Receiving, Issuing, and Shipping of materials through inter-site transfers, and the Fixed Asset Accounting function, vendor repair facilities and other government agencies. Performs various physical duties as assigned in keeping with Storekeeper B functions such as: receiving, storing, issuing, ordering, posting, filing, inventory by use of barcode system and recording in a production type parts storage area. Operate material handling type equipment that will move or raise parts and material to accomplish storekeeping functions such as loading and unloading trucks and basic warehousing functions. Escorts vendors/individuals in and out of the warehouse as necessary. Completes other related duties to ensure attainment of overall job objective and completes other assignments and special projects to support company goals. Performs preventive user maintenance to upkeep equipment, tools, and hardware used to support the warehouse functions. Prepares packaging for transportation of hazardous materials in accordance with CFR 49. Support an off site warehouse (Stennis, Mississippi) to assure all property related functions are handled correctly.

REQUIRED: Must be able to perform moderate physical exertion and have the technical skills to operate a real time, computer-based inventory control system. High School Diploma or GED and two years experience in shipping and receiving warehouse type environment. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and be certified as a qualified operator of a wide variety of material handling equipment. In addition to the above minimum qualifications to enter the job, this job has ongoing job competency and training requirements and /or certification requirements to become fully qualified in the job.
