Lowe's Summer Internship Program Overview
Lowe's 2024 Summer Internship Program offers a challenging, project-based opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to enhance their understanding of the retail business world through valuable, hands-on experience with a FORTUNE® 50 company. The internship will provide broad learning, experience, organizational knowledge, and business acumen. We are looking for:

The summer internship program begins with orientation on
May 20th
and concludes on
August 2nd
. All internships are paid opportunities. Qualified interns will be eligible for Lowe's housing benefit.
Store OperationsProject Management Internship:
The Store Operations Program Management Office (PMO) is responsible for supporting end-to-end delivery of projects that help to drive process-efficiencies within our Lowe's Stores. The team collaborates with business partners at a corporate and store level to serve our Customers and Associates effectively.
The Store Operations Program Management Internship will consist of a project-based assignment to broaden learning, experience, organizational knowledge, and business acumen.
Areas of learning:
Understanding of the full end to end fundamentals of the Project Management lifecycle
Project plan management through Confluence platform
Drive the work of assigned project through scope, resource management and communication to achieve project objectives and key results
Coordinate communication strategy and project timeline to ensure project milestones are achieved, providing clear communication, guidance and project deliverable expectations
Project risk management and issue avoidance through identification and risk mitigation planning; establishing contingency plans and issue resolution as needed
Prepare executive level report outs to include project status updates and review of project performance metrics (deliverables, OKR, financials, timelines, etc)
Education and/or Experience:
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related fields from an accredited university with expected graduation dates of December 2024 or May 2025
Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is required
Proficient in MS Office Programs (specifically Word, Excel, and Power Point)
Strong collaborative, innovative, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills are required
Relevant internship and experience is a plus, as is experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization
