DESCRIPTION
The Store Manager is responsible for all staffing, sales, and operations at a Scooter's Coffee location. This role builds and leads a friendly, service-oriented barista team, sets a high-energy work pace, drives sales, increases profit, and demonstrates an engaged management style. The Store Manager exemplifies Scooter's Coffee core values and will lead by example. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure consistent and quality customer experience through proper staffing, execution of brand beverage recipes and techniques, and fostering the Scooter's "Amazing" customer service experience
- Interview, hire, train, and develop staff to demonstrate all company standards in customer experience and operations
- Develop effective working relationships with team members, identifying individual motivation factors and providing clear, constructive feedback to reinforce/improve performance
- Provide ongoing performance feedback and development for staff members, identifying individual motivation factors and providing clear, constructive feedback to reinforce/improve performance
- Maintain accountability in employees using progressive discipline process
- Determine daily and weekly staffing requirements based on business need and Implement a varied schedule to develop employees, meet business needs, and maximize sales potential across all hours of operation
- Maintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods by managing an efficient team workflow with a calm demeanor, anticipating customer needs
- Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, visual merchandising standards, food safety standards, and equipment
- Proactively seek opportunities to increase individual and team sales while managing overall costs
- Maintain company standards in personal and store sales/performance metrics
- Ensure team members follow all health, safety and sanitation guidelines
- Demonstrate punctuality, dependability and adaptability
- Ensure all cash handling, point of sale system, safety, and operational procedures are performed in an accurate, consistent manner
- Maintain daily, weekly, and quarterly financial reports
- Weekly inventory and management of order replenishment and cost of goods
- Overall accountability for store operations
- Other duties as assigned by Multi-Unit Leader or Franchisee/Owner

- Prior leadership experience preferred
- Comprehension and ability to demonstrate independent execution of Store Manager Training checklist
- Completion of Store Manager training as required by Scooter's Coffee franchisor
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work rotating shifts with weekend and evening hours
- Attendance at regional training classes, with occasional travel
- Lifting or moving items up to 40 lbs.
