Job Title: Stockroom Clerk

Salary Range: $14.00 per hour
Department: Stockroom
Shift/Status: Night / Full Time
Position Summary:
The Stockroom Clerk inventories, stores, and distributes hardware, consumables, and tools to support mechanics. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively while paying close attention to details. Will be responsible for entering information from various paperwork sources into a database system to generate the appropriate corresponding transaction. Will also use a database system to research discrepancies, answer questions regarding materials, and route incoming material to the correct location (stock bin or production department). The Clerk may be required to lift heavy boxes and containers of merchandise and use powered equipment, such as a forklift, to move the merchandise. Properly maintain paperwork for shortages and the transfer or issuance of stock material
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory of materials
- Perform physical and administrative tasks involved in receiving, storing, distribution, and shipping of materials and supplies
- Issue material and supplies to employees
- Answer telephone/gate entry and direct visitors
- Monitoring and logging shelf-life material used on the aircraft
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Complies with all company and safety policies and procedures
- Completes required documentation as mandated
- Basic computer skills required for reporting and tracking
- Must have excellent organization and communication skills
- Must be a team player, yet work independently with general supervision
- Weekends and shift work as needed.
- Additional duties as required
Requirements:
Academic Qualifications | High School Diploma or GED required
Experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- 2+ year working in warehouse environment
- 1 year in customer service
Languages
Must be able to read, write, and speak effectively in English regarding safety sensitive work activities, per FAA requirements.
