Duties:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the direction of the chef or kitchen staff
- Handle and store food in accordance with safety and sanitation guidelines
- Set up and break down banquet and catering events
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Follow all food handling and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of food service and culinary practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Please note that previous experience in a restaurant or catering setting is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
