The Role...
The Steward Supervisor performs activities associated with dish and cleaning team operations. You will be responsible for daily duties and tasks aligned with kitchen needs, overseeing the dishwashing team of 6-10 stewards.
Responsibilities…
- Supervise the daily functions of the Steward team
- Perform daily department walkthroughs and report on any issues to the Culinary Manager or Senior Culinary Manager
- Oversee and manage breaks within the Steward team
- Help manage labor costs of the above team and identify ways to improve efficiency
- Follow opening and closing checklists
- Perform equipment checks and cleanings and report any issues to appropriate manager
