The Steward will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness of all dishes, silverware, glassware, pots, kitchen and surrounding areas and assist other Kitchen staff in food preparation.
He or she will also:
Wash all dishes, silverware, glassware, pots, pans, steam kettles and ensure they meet Canyon Ranch standards regarding cleanliness.
Clean organize and maintain the kitchen and surrounding areas including sweeping and washing the floor 3 times daily. This includes organizing, transporting and dumping the refuse in the correct dumpsters at the end of each service.
At appropriate mealtime, also responsible to:
- Organize, assemble and fill with product the two ice cream machines every morning to be ready for lunch then dinner.
- For breakfast, lunch and dinner maintain the dishwasher, setting it up for service, changing the water as necessary, changing the detergents and rinser as necessary and breaking down and cleaning it after each service.
- Ice both salad bars each morning.

- Must have a cheerful, positive attitude when working with a variety of people and be able to work well under pressure.
- Must be able to work independently or as a team player.
- Must be flexible in working hours as they may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must be responsible, neat and clean in appearance.
