Sterilization Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Sterilization Technician to join our team. We are willing to train the right person with the right attitude. Hours are Tuesdays and Wednesdays all day or afternoons around a school schedule. As a Sterilization Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our medical equipment and instruments. Duties:
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical equipment and instruments according to established protocols
- Inspect equipment for damage or defects and report any issues to the supervisor
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper handling and storage of sterilized equipment
- Follow strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of pathogens
- Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a healthcare or dental setting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with sterilization techniques and equipment is highly desirable but will teach motivated candidate.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment is extremely important

Job Types: Part-time, Internship

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
