Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sterilization of instruments ensuring that appropriate infection control guidelines are followed
- Prepare all necessary trays, bur blocks, and endo files for dental procedures
- Clean, disinfect, and prepare operatories after each use
- Assist with the maintenance and lubrication of equipment in accordance with Dental Policies and Procedures
- Able to utilize electronic dental records system, practice management software, and electronic medical records system to schedule patients and keep records
- Ensure OSHA and CDC guidelines are followed when disinfecting and sterilizing instruments and equipment, and while preparing dental operatories for treatment
- Perform all job functions, duties and /or services in compliance with regulatory agencies, contractual obligations, policies and procedures, and funding sources
- Assist with dental office supplies inventory control
- Handle patient information with utmost respect and confidentiality
- Maintain a professional, friendly, and courteous demeanor in the performance of duties
- Support the Clinics mission of quality care and patient satisfaction
- Provide timely input to supervisor on issues that need attention and/or improvement
- Handle patients complaints or concerns in a professional manner. Refer patient to appropriate management staff for handling or resolution of issues timely.
- Perform various clerical and clinical duties as assigned by supervisor
Position Requirements:
- Bilingual skills in languages such as Spanish, Korean, Tagalog, Russian, Armenian preferred.
- High school diploma or educational equivalent required
- Covid vaccine and booster
