Responsibilities:
- Perform sterilization of dental instruments and equipment
- Follow strict infection control protocols and guidelines
- Maintain and organize sterilization area
- Monitor and document sterilization processes
- Assist dental team with chairside duties as needed
- Take and record vital signs of patients
- Assist with medical coding and billing procedures
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a Sterilization Technician or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with dental office systems, such as Dentrix, is a plus
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology is beneficial
- Experience working in a pediatric dental setting is an advantage
- X-ray certification is a plus
The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team. They should also possess good communication skills and be able to multitask effectively.
