Our SECS Outreach Department is looking for a highly organized, driven, and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of STEM Summer Camp Coordinator. This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Outreach and Retention.
- Facilitates with the pre-planning and prep work regarding camp including but not limited to: structure of day, recruitment/enrollment of students, applications, planning excursions etc.
- Assists with supervising camp counselors and facilitators
- Assist with conversing with parents and guardians concerning child’s experiences within the Summer Camps
- Assure all documents are kept accurate, including but not limited to transportation, attendance, class rosters, contact list for all staff, etc.
- Maintain a current and accurate record of all children enrolled in the Summer Camp or on the waitlist.
- Work closely with the Assistant Director to ensure the safety of all staff and campers.
- Other duties as assigned.
