The Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady is looking for someone who is organized, passionate, enthusiastic, and enjoys working with children. The S.T.E.A.M specialist will plan and implement a program that is engaging and allows students to explore the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.

Running STEAM lessons that will engage and teach youth about Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.

Creating and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans that are problem based. (Elementary & Middle School Programs)

Maintaining facilities, equipment, and supplies.

Providing youth with feedback and guidance.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years olds

Have experience in the related field.

Must have reliable transportation

Ability to provide a safe, fun, and creative environment for youth

Can communicate positively with diverse age groups.

Experience working with youth preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
