We are seeking Steam Pipe Fitters to join our Facilities and Asset Management (F&AM) team supporting building & grounds maintenance and initial installations. This position is available in Everett, Washington.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform routine diagnosing, testing, and repairing of all types of plumbing lines and fixtures
Repair, construct, install, rebuild, adjust, and modify plumbing lines and fixtures
Test air, gas, water, steam, drain lines, heating, and sprinkler systems
We have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift openings available. Our team supports a 24/7 operation, based on business needs. This position requires an individual to complete and pass Fall Protection training. When working at heights, you will utilize fall protection equipment that has weight limitations for safety.
Incentives include: additional pay for obtaining trade licenses paid by the company as well as receiving shift differential pay working off-shifts. You are also paid for overtime worked.
You will receive both on-the-job & formal training to enhance your technical skills, and backflow licensing is provided by the company. This role allows you to obtain a variety of skillsets, the opportunity to learn from knowledgeable colleagues, and to work on critical maintenance plumbing solutions for major Boeing sites.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in the plumbing or pipefitting trade
Must be able to work at heights up to 50 feet above ground level with appropriate safety gear
Must be able to complete Fall Protection training
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience working with any of the following: backflow prevention, chemical process tank lines, or high-pressure steam systems
Experience with residential and/or industrial plumbing
Possess a specialty plumbing certification (ex: fitter certification)
