Station Agent

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Ravn Alaska Station Agent is responsible for performing a variety of tasks such as passenger check-in, baggage handling, and load calculations, which ensures the continuation of safe, productive, and professional airport operations. The Station Agent will be trained to work safely and efficiently in their respective location, completing routine processes in addition to tasks as assigned/requested by the Station Manager, typically in an outdoor environment. Other responsibilities aligned with Ravn Alaska Core Values include but are not limited to:

• Upholding safety by consistently completing tasks as trained to ensure safety is upheld in every aspect of airline operations.

• Acting with integrity when communicating with customers and accurately calculating fares and other charges.

• Showing reliability through operating ground support equipment in accordance with company procedures and instructions, reporting any damage or repairs immediately.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have strong customer service skills and previous experience in operations, preferably in the aviation industry. Other qualifications include:

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must have the ability to work at a constant and quick pace for up to two hours at one time.
• Must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work in changing elements and inclement weather.
• Must be able to do multiple job functions, including actively promoting and personally observing safety and security procedures.
• Must have a basic proficiency with computers, with knowledge of Sabre, Flightmaster, and Movement Control preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, including overtime, as dictated by operational needs.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision, maintaining focus and meeting objectives.
• Must have a strong safety awareness and the ability to adhere to Safety Management Systems (SMS).
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Must be comfortable working in an airport environment around odors, substances, and sounds typically associated with operating aircraft.
