Station Agent

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Ravn Alaska Station Agent is responsible for completing various tasks, such as assisting customers and loading baggage, to ensure safe, productive, and professional airport operations on behalf of the company. The Station Agent will be trained to work safely and efficiently in their respective location, completing tasks as assigned/requested by the Airport Supervisor, typically in an outdoor environment. Other responsibilities aligned with Ravn Alaska Core Values include but are not limited to:

• Upholding safety by completing tasks as trained to ensure safety is upheld in every aspect of airline operations;
• Demonstrating commitment to the importance of their role in safe, accurate, and on-time performance for the company;
• Acting with integrity when communicating clearly with customers and accurately collecting fares and other charges;
• Embodying the spirit of connectedness by handling stressful and complicated situations as they arise in a calm and professional manner, working towards a solution with necessary company personnel;
• Showing reliability through operating ground support equipment in accordance with company procedures and instructions, reporting any damage or repairs immediately;
• Promoting commitment by engaging in courteous and respectful interactions with customers, supervisors, co-workers, and business associates.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have experience in operations, preferably in the aviation industry and have strong customer service skills. Other qualifications include:

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED;
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
• Must have the ability to work at a constant and quick pace for up to two hours at one time;
• Must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis;
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills;
• Must be able to work in changing elements and inclement weather;
• Must be able to do multiple job functions, including actively promoting and personally observing safety and security procedures;
• Must have a basic proficiency with computers, with knowledge of Sabre, FlightMaster, and Movement Control preferred;
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, including overtime, as dictated by operational needs;
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision, maintaining focus and meeting objectives;
• Must have a strong safety awareness and the ability to adhere to Safety Management Systems (SMS);
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug test;
• Must be comfortable working in an airport environment around odors and sounds typically associated with operating aircraft;
