Are you a commercially driven individual with a background in applications engineering interested in helping solve unique process & mechanical problems?
The Standard Solutions Specialist is responsible for reviewing and interpretating customer's technical specifications to size & select appropriate filtration equipment in several different industries (Energy Transition/Renewables, Refinery, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas, Midstream, Pulp & Paper, Steel manufacturing, etc.). As a balance of both technical & commercial skills, Standard Solutions Engineers/Specialists have a multitude of career growth opportunities within the organization. This position is part of the Technical Solutions Department and is a completely remote position. Our team seeks to find the best filtration solution for our customers in order to improve their processes through improved reliability & process optimization.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Support the commercial sales team in developing and closing new business that fits within the Pall strategy by providing Technical direction and supporting documentation to resolve customer needs. Work with inter-disciplinary functions within the company to provide quick responses to our customers and the sales team
• Act as the technical expert within Pall's core markets by communicating with customers to diagnose process issues & provide technical solutions, ensure understanding of Pall's value propositions in support of business development
• Performs appropriate calculations to develop a process design that will meet customer requirements. Selects standard equipment that can support the process design in alignment with Pall's standard preferred product positioning.
• Uses Pall's Standard Vessel design software to create vessel drawings and prepare made-to-order capital proposals for our designs to sales & customers. Compare Pall standard vessel designs to customer's process & mechanical requirements
• Develop, enhance and utilize quotation templates, product selection, and pricing tools for advantage applications product positions.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor's Degree. Technical, Engineering preferred, or Business with Technical sales/support experience
• 3-5 years' experience in filtration, technical inside sales, application engineering, mechanical or chemical engineering
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working with Energy Transition, Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Chemical/Petrochemical, Fuels, OEM and/or Refinery markets a plus

The salary range for this role is 80,000 - 95,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
