Stand up forklift operator

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for all aspects of picking orders and shipping and receiving in a food manufacturing facility. Participation and understanding of food safety programs is essential. Driving a stand-up forklift.

Job Responsibilities:

• Daily equipment checks.
• Unloading inbound freight.
• Loading outbound freight.
• Stock rotation.
• Warehouse housekeeping.
• Picking orders.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must be able to work on own without direct supervision.
• Must be accurate when picking orders.
• Ability to pay close attention to the details.
• Capable of following directions given.

Education and Experience:

• Stand up Forklift experience a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Occasional reaching, kneeling, and squatting.
• Must be able to work in cooler environment (temps between 40-50 degrees)
• Must be able to lift 50lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour

• Warehouse experience: 1 year (Required)
