Job Title:Staffing Specialist

Department: Social Enterprise Staffing (SED)

Reports to: Social Enterprise Director

Job Type: Full-time

Position Overview:

As a Staffing and WFD Specialist at Valeo Vocation's Social Enterprise Staffing (SED) department, you play a vital role in our innovative 360 Recruiting model. This comprehensive approach combines staffing and Workforce Development responsibilities to ensure successful recruitment and program outcomes. You will work collaboratively with the Social Enterprise team to achieve our goals and targets while adhering to the principles outlined in the 360 Recruiting model policy.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential customers and engage with them to understand their hiring needs.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships to provide effective solutions.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and seek opportunities for contract renewals and extensions.

Field Staff Sourcing and Placement:

  • Develop strategies to find, screen, and place field staff in suitable roles that match their qualifications.
  • Offer guidance and support to field staff throughout the recruitment process.
  • Prioritize field staff placements and ensure the best possible fit between field staff and customer requirements.

Balancing Dual Roles:

  • Efficiently manage responsibilities related to both customers and field staff.
  • Prioritize tasks to meet the needs of both parties, demonstrating adaptability in the 360 Recruiting model.
  • Maintain open and effective communication between customers and field staff.

Building Relationships:

  • Emphasize the importance of strong relationships with both customers and field staff.
  • Foster a professional and collaborative environment that values relationships as a key asset.

Negotiation and Closing Skills:

  • Develop negotiation skills for both field staff offers and customer contracts.
  • Ensure that negotiations result in favorable outcomes for both parties.

Time Management and Organization:

  • Implement best practices for handling multiple tasks and priorities inherent in full desk recruiting.
  • Utilize time management techniques and task prioritization to achieve objectives efficiently.

Adapting to Market Changes:

  • Stay informed about industry trends and adapt recruitment strategies accordingly.
  • Adjust strategies to meet the evolving needs of both customers and field staff.

Program Support:

  • Implement strategies to raise awareness and attract suitable candidates to the WFD program.
  • Ensure alignment of outreach efforts with both staffing and WFD program objectives; to include sales.
  • Provide support to individuals who may not be interested in current job opportunities, offering job search direction through programming.

Vocation Preparation and Job Preparedness:

  • Integrate Vocation Preparation activities into WFD program support to enhance job readiness.
  • Facilitate job preparedness workshops and activities to equip WFD participants with essential skills for employment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in staffing, recruitment, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements in workforce development programs.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Commitment to the principles of the 360 Recruiting model.
  • Familiarity with data auditing and reporting tools (preferred).

Valeo Vocation offers 90-day orientation period, to determine whether position offer is a good fit for both parties; upon completion Valeo offers full benefits, Medical, Dental and PTO for all full-time employees to include 403B after 12 months of employment. Valeo currently offers 32-hour work week in office with remote work from home Fridays when customer or business needs arise.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
