Job description

Essential Job Functions

  • Develops, maintains and distributes staff schedules within designated timelines. Ensures that staff schedules are accurate and that supplemental staff is deployed efficiently to ensure safety and service is maintained at all times.
  • Assists management as their point of contact for all call outs that occur during the workday and ensures coverage as needed. Provides feedback when requested to assist in identifying staffing inefficiencies
  • Works directly with the training department to determine the deployment of staff to training classes.
  • Works closely with the Leave Administrator to ensure proper placement of employees on, or returning from, Workers’ Compensation in regards to their schedule and timesheet
  • Works directly with the training department to determine the deployment of staff to training classes.

  • Manages all compensated and non-compensated time off, including requests for Paid Time Off (PTO), management-authorized Leave without Pay, and Sick Leave
  • Produces periodic reports for determining staffing trends. Provides information to support supervisors in maintaining an adequate level of accountability for their direct reports. Provides information for budget compliance and planning as related to staff deployment

Employment Qualifications

  • Required Minimum Education: High School or equivalent
  • Licensure/Certification Required : Valid Driver’s License
