Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative Staff Writer/Reporter to join our team. As a Staff Writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content across various platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our organization's growth and make a meaningful impact in the community.

Duties:

- Conduct research on assigned topics to gather relevant information

- Write clear, concise, and compelling articles, blog posts, and other written materials

- Edit and proofread content for accuracy, grammar, and AP style

- Collaborate with the team to develop content strategies and ideas

- Manage social media accounts and engage with the audience

- Assist with photography and video production for multimedia content (preferred)

Skills:

- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to write in a variety of styles and tones

- Strong proofreading and editing abilities to ensure high-quality content

- Bilingual proficiency in [languages] to cater to a diverse audience (preferred)

- Experience in social media management and engagement

- Basic photography skills for capturing visual content

- Knowledge of video production techniques and editing software (preferred)

- Strong research skills to gather information from reliable sources

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $22,000.00 - $36,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
