The Tulsa World, a Lee Enterprises company, is seeking a journalist to cover the city of Sand Springs, Oklahoma for the Sand Springs Leader and sandspringsleader.com. This Staff Writer will focus on the news and the people in Sand Springs, as well as covering city government and politics, business, education, crime and courts. Focus will be on producing enterprise reporting that readers can’t find anywhere else, writing breaking news stories and creating in-depth work that give readers access and insight on what is happening in the town. Other duties include being active and engaged on social media.
This reporter will join staff at the Tulsa World’s group of suburban publications, which include the Owasso Reporter, Wagoner County American-Tribune and Skiatook Journal.
This is a position is based in the Tulsa area. This Staff Writer will report to the Tulsa World editor and city editor.
