Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking Staff Systems Software Analyst - 11869. This position will be located in Roy, Utah; Promontory, Utah; Huntsville, Alabama or Colorado Springs, Colorado and will support the Sentinel program.
As an integral part of the Integrated Digital Environment (IDE) team, the successful candidate will represent Product Management and the voice of customers on the IT product development team. They will coordinate and advise on Test Data Management System (TDMS) development, deployment, and upgrade projects on multiple networks and classification levels, utilizing both on premise and cloud-based IT. They will guide the development of requirements, workflow, and systems analysis. Additionally, identify and document program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities. Also, establish standards for development and maintenance of new and existing products.
Some additional tasks include:
- Responsible for managing the product development process, gathering feature requests, scheduling releases, and coordinating sprints.
- Defines and documents the scope of work and product roadmap so that the integrated team can review, commit, and execute within a defined period.
- Prioritizes work and manages projects within established budget objectives and customer priorities.
- Develop user stories, define acceptance criteria, and sets sprint goal.
- Refine our agile methodology based on results and client feedback.
- Ensures that the IT product development team understands the intent and requirements of feature and user story definitions, and that the team is aligned on all acceptance criteria.
- Represents customer interests and continuously dictates team backlog priorities.
- Understand IT product requirements and structure those requirements into executable schedules.
- Develops and promotes established enterprise test data management best practices and guidelines and recommends improvements.
- Provides the Element, Segment, and business management with timely and accurate information regarding the status and performance of the assigned project(s).
- Builds, leverages, and maintains effective relationships across technical and business community to build high-performing, cross functional teams.
- Determine data provisioning and masking requirements, to assist in the design and review of workflows, working with program TDM development teams.
- Designs and implements test data management approaches and frameworks.
- Designs and develops Test Data Management workflows for Proof-of-Concept situations when new technologies or new use cases are encountered by the enterprise.
- Manages and coordinates product upgrades and testing of TDM toolsets with program development teams.
- Assists program TDM development teams with data profiling, and the development of new test data provisioning and test data masking use cases, researching solutions and addressing issues with the tool vendor, as necessary.
- Develops solutions for provisioning and masking test data when out-of-the-box capabilities are found to be insufficient for use case requirements.
- Recommends improvement in test automation practices, techniques, and tools.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Job Qualifications:
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • 14 Years with Bachelors in relevant field of study; 12 Years with Masters; 09 Years with PhD or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.
  • US Citizenship, ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance and ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
  • IT product development experience.
  • Experience interacting directly with IT SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) and senior stakeholders in both internal and customer leadership teams in a manner that builds confidence in the IT product team and strengthens stakeholder relationships.
  • The ability to manage communications with stakeholders through organized processes to ensure that program information is defined, collected, shared, understood, stored, and retrieved in a manner that effectively meets program stakeholder needs.
  • The ability to identify and address program impacts through systematic and proactive approaches to issue and problem resolution that identifies, communicates, monitors, and promptly resolves conflicts.
  • Competence and confidence working under pressure on requests with short turn-around times.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
  • 1-3 years of current experience writing SQL queries, triggers, stored procedures, investigating and mitigating performance issues, testing and verifying results.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Test Data Management designing and developing data provision workflows or task flows.
  • Developing knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as Network, Database, Server, Storage etc.
  • Knowledge of proprietary and open-source databases, include SQL, Oracle, Mongo, DB2, etc. Experience with Cloud database technologies.
  • Experience with the Setup of Test Data Services, Data masking, Test Data Management strategy and implementation, Test Data strategies.
  • Experience in troubleshooting & diagnosing complex technical issues.
  • Full stack application development experience using .net, Java, python or similar, Git, Subversion, Jenkins, UCD.
  • DOD 8570 IAT Level II (Security + or higher) certification.
  • Familiarity with Strategic Deterrence and cloud computing
  • Experience working within an Agile development team.
  • Knowledge of System Engineering principles and requirements management.
  • Experience developing, deploying, and maintaining IT products on multiple networks and classification levels.
  • Certification in one or more of these designations is desired: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Project Management Professional (PMP).

Salary Range: $142,500.00 - $213,700.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
