We are looking for you to join our team as a MBSE Systems Engineer based out of Woodland Hills, CA. As a MBSE Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman you will have a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be a part of our Enterprise-wide digital transformation. What You'll get to Do:
In this role you will be collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to establish architecture content and develop solutions that achieve customer intent. It will require you to demonstrate good communication skills, systems thinking, and the ability to capture technical design in MBSE architecture products.
Essential Responsibilities:

  • Developing system architectures
  • Defining key capabilities and performance requirements
  • Decomposing functionality
  • Defining interfaces in a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline AND 14 years of related professional/military experience in MBSE or Systems Engineering OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of related professional/military experience in MBSE or Systems Engineering OR a Ph.D in a STEM discipline with 9 years of related professional/military experience in MBSE or Systems Engineering
  • Experience in Cameo, Rhapsody, Simulink, SCADE, or other MBSE Modeling applications.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance or higher clearance.

This position is contingent upon clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiar with UML, SysML, and/or AADL
  • Familiar with DoDAF/UPDM, SysML, or UAF
  • Experience developing MBSE artifacts such as behavior diagrams (activity, sequence, or state machine) and structure diagrams (block definition and internal block diagrams) in SysML
  • Experience with Systems Engineering activities, such as functional analysis, requirements development and decomposition, interface definition, or verification
  • Experience running CAMEO Simulation Tool Kit for SysML validation
  • Ability to analyze architectures and develop MBSE views in SysML
  • Experience with Magic Grid Framework
  • Experience with DOORs
  • Familiar with C/C++
  • Familiar with Software Design Patterns
  • Familiar with digital processing
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, geographically dispersed team environment
  • Interfacing and presenting to customers

Salary Range: $165,000.00 - $247,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
