Blackhawk Network is a trailblazer in delivering pioneering digital commerce solutions. We are in search of an accomplished Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Staff Software Engineer to join our team. This role offers the chance to lead architectural design and development, mentor a skilled team, and contribute significantly to enhancing our digital solutions utilizing Adobe Experience Manager.
- Lead the creation of scalable AEM solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and optimal performance.
- Provide guidance and leadership to a team of AEM Engineers, fostering collaboration, conducting code reviews, and maintaining high standards.
- Develop and manage intricate custom AEM elements, emphasizing reusability and modularity to meet project requirements.
- Create and oversee an extensive AEM component library for consistency and efficiency across projects.
- Demonstrate expertise in responsive design, Single Page Applications (SPAs), and AEM Core Components for enhanced user interfaces.
- Integrate AEM seamlessly with other systems using AEM APIs, servlets, OSGi services, and Adobe's integration capabilities.
- Show mastery in CSS to craft visually appealing and responsive interfaces, overseeing CSS frameworks and preprocessors for streamlined development.
- Leverage Adobe Cloud Services such as Adobe Target, Analytics, and Campaign to enhance personalization and marketing capabilities.
- Enforce AEM governance policies, coding standards, and best practices within the development team.
- Implement optimization strategies within AEM for improved performance, including caching mechanisms and asset optimization to optimize page load times and resource usage.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Over 8 years of development experience with substantial expertise in AEM.
- Proven leadership in AEM development, proficiency in CSS, JavaScript, HTML, Java, and substantial hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager.
- Proficient in Apache Sling, Apache Jackrabbit, skilled in Adobe Launchpad, and familiar with AEM Sites, AEM Assets, and AEM Forms.
- Extensive CSS expertise, including a strong command of CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, and familiarity with preprocessors such as SASS.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, capable of making strategic decisions aligned with project objectives.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills essential for effective team leadership and collaboration.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities within a dynamic environment, ensuring the prompt delivery of top-quality AEM solutions.

Salary Range for California Residents Only: $125,430.00 to $191,535.00
