We are looking for Staff Quality Assurance Engineer to join a newly formed squad within the Platform Engineering team! This team is responsible for building our next generation of data pipelines, microservices, and automated processes to support core business functions.
We are seeking a candidate with proven experience and skills in building test plans and automated tests for microservices or data pipelines.

Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed test plans and test cases for our microservices and data pipelines.
- Collaborate with software engineers to understand system design and functionalities, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and inefficiencies in our systems, working closely with the development team for timely resolutions.
- Participate in code reviews and design discussions to understand and influence software architecture from a quality perspective.
- Implement automated testing tools and frameworks to streamline our testing processes
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on testing microservices and data pipelines.
- Solid understanding of Java and related automated testing frameworks, and familiarity with AWS environments and modern CI/CD deployment models
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with geographically spread teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of presenting complex ideas clearly in both verbal and written forms.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AWS core services (Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, CloudFormation, S3, CloudWatch), and logging and monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog).
- Familiarity with serverless, event-driven, and microservice architectures.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Apache Airflow, AWS Step Functions).
