As a Per Diem, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacistat Cottonwood Springs, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; review electronic orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.

Schedule: This Per Diem, nonexempt position will work 1 day/week and provide PTO coverage (one week in duration 2-3 times per year) and/or a minimum of 4 hours per month.

About the Facility: Cottonwood Springs Hospital is a 68-bed, Joint Commission accredited, behavioral health hospital located in Olathe, Kansas. Services include inpatient and outpatient treatment for adults experiencing mental health and substance abuse challenges. Programs include inpatient mental health and addiction treatment, partial hospitalization programs (PHP) and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy: Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm. Pharmacy systems include HCS and Pyxis.

Required Qualifications:

• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
• Current Kansas Pharmacist license in good standing
• Experience working with Pyxis is a plus
• Recent work experience as a Pharmacist; willing to consider a new grad with hospital rotations
• Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
• Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems

Hospital Requirements (may be required):

• (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
• Hep B3 Series (or declination)
• (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between October 1st - April 30th
• COVID Vaccine - Full
