Staff Pharmacist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. Your expertise in typing, billing, filling and verification will be crucial in delivering optimal pharmaceutical services.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide medication counseling to patients on proper use, side effects, and potential interactions
- Review medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently
- Monitor patients' response to medication therapy and adjust as necessary
- Participate in utilization review activities to optimize medication utilization and cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with medical management teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in pharmacology, physiology, and medical practices

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
