Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and interactions.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy.
- Perform medication therapy management (MTM) services.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles.
- Oversee and train pharmacy technicians.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Completion of a 4-year course at an accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS or Pharm. D. degree
- At least two years hospital pharmacy experience preferred or has completed an ASHP accredited residency.
- Microsoft Office Common Drug Information Software.
- Current CA Pharmacist Licensure required.
- Fire Safety card within 90 days of hire.
Pay Range
$62.24 - $90.24 /hour
