Staff Network Security Engineer, Infrastructure Network Engineering

Tesla is currently seeking a Staff Network Security Engineer to join our core-infra team. This role will provide Network Security design, implementation, and operational support for Tesla's core infrastructure.

• 10+ years’ of experience large global enterprise network security infrastructure
• Extensive experience with PAN Palo Alto Networks, Juniper or Fortinet firewalls
• Experience managing on-prem and cloud firewalls and utilizing security best practices
• Experience with firewall management tools and technologies such as, Panorama, Firemon, Prisma access, IPSec, Global Protect VPN
• Experience with monitoring and visibility platforms Splunk, NetBox, Kentik and Grafana, Protocol Analyzer, SNMP, IPAM, RADIUS, network taps, and load/stress testing tools
• Experience with other networking vendors and technologies is a plus; Arista, Juniper, switching & routing, spanning-tree, OSPF, BGP, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, end to end QOS, VRRP, LACP, MLAG, ACLs.
• Experience with automation to generate and push config at wide scale and collect performance metrics
• PCNSE, CWNA/CWSP, JNCIP preferred
