Staff Internal Auditor
In this role, you will be part of a team that implements processes, reviews policies and increases awareness of Compliance and Patient Privacy Rights. You will conduct both financial and operational audits to ensure accuracy and determine if appropriate controls are in place. From the planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases, you will play in integral role in maintaining the effectiveness of our financial controls program. This is a full time position, working hybrid on-site and remote at our Corporate office.
Preferred Criteria
- Master’s Degree
- CPA, CIA, CISA OR CISSP certifications
Required Criteria
- Bachelor Degree.
- 2-3 years of experience in finance, operations, and/or IT experience in a major hospital, healthcare system/network, health plan or highly regulated industry, or four years of other applicable consulting and auditing experience or a combination of the two.
- Knowledge of the health care environment and/or IT, a comparable degree of skills and experience with analytical techniques, and tools needed to solve problems.
- Technical skills - Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access).
- Possess the sensitivity to, and understanding of, the values and goal of all the various people that make up an organization.
- High level of written and oral communications skills.
- Knowledge of and ability to identify risks and best practices – both internal and external – and development of a program of continuous improvements.
