Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geological Engineering, or related. Requires experience (2 years with Bachelor’s or 0 years with Master’s)
Must have some experience or education in each of the following skills: Completed at least two courses related to Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering; RocScience Slide2 and Settle 3D; Perform soil classification using USCS and AASHTO methods, Atterberg Limits, Sieve Analysis, and Hydrometer Analysis tests; Perform seismic analysis, including Site Class determinations; and Perform settlement and bearing capacity calculations.
Must pass NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and be eligible for the NCEES Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) exam.
