We invite applications for a Distributed Systems Engineer specializing in Linux and GPU computing environments. The successful candidate will demonstrate an intimate understanding of Distributed Systems, experience with system-level programming, and proficiency in GPU cluster management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify and resolve issues in the distributed GPU cluster, develop strategic solutions, and lead efforts to implement them effectively.
- Implement distributed computing related techniques, such as barriers and memory snapshots.
- Oversee Docker container lifecycle within a GPU-intensive environment.
- Optimize software and system performance using CUDA or similar technologies.
Minimum Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Python, C, C++, Go, or other system-level languages.
- Proven experience with Linux operating systems and Docker.
- Practical experience with NVIDIA GPU computing and CUDA.
- Robust problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to manage code with Git.
Preferred Skill Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Certifications: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), NVIDIA Certified Professional.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Previous role in a similar cloud-based, GPU-intensive environment.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000 - $300,000, in addition to bonus, equity and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
