Job Summary:
Portland Health & Rehabilitation Center is currently accepting applications for an experienced Staff Development/Infection Prevention Nurseto administer, plan, develop, evaluate, coordinate and educate any and all programs for the facility's staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and implement staff training programs on infection prevention and control
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on infection prevention and control
- Develop and implement infection prevention protocols and policies
- Monitor and evaluate infection prevention and control practices
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure compliance with infection prevention and control guidelines
- Provide guidance and support to staff on infection prevention and control issues
- Conduct regular audits of infection prevention and control practices
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in staff development and infection prevention
- Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control guidelines and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to analyze data and develop reports
